Google and Apple have implemented additional compliance updates related to user privacy and data safety. One of the most recent requirements is for Southern First Bank to provide our clients with the ability to request removal of online banking or mobile banking apps, and any associated data.

We greatly value your relationship and are committed to providing you with the best possible banking experience. However, if you would like to request removal of your online and/or mobile banking access and associated data, simply send an email request directly to [email protected]. Prior to submitting your request, please download any electronic copies of past account statements for your records.

Please type “Remove Online Mobile Banking Access” in the subject line of your email, include a current phone number and explain the reason for the deletion. One of our bankers will contact you to confirm the request and initiate the process within 3 business days.

Please note that when your online and mobile banking access is deleted:

• You will no longer be able to access the online banking or the Southern First Bank mobile app.
• Your access to view your electronic copies of statements and/or tax documents will be removed. Your preferences will be changed to receive paper statements and paper tax documents, and a paper statement fee may be assessed.
• Any transfers or payments you previously set up within online banking or in our mobile app will be deleted. This includes bill pay payments and payee information, external transfers,  scheduled or recurring transfers, as well as real time account alerts and history for any of these services. We may need to contact you for verification purposes, we will review specific impacts to you based on the features you currently use.
• Your existing accounts and loans will remain active, and your transaction history will remain in our system, but all online and mobile banking data will be deleted.
